Error Creating Control - Failed to create designer

Rank: Newbie Groups: Member Joined: 4/3/2008(UTC) Posts: 5		We are about to purchase your gridviewtree control but before we do this I would like to evaluate it. I have downloaded the installation file and installed it and then activated it without any problems. But when I drag the control onto the asp.net form I get a error: Error Creating Control – GridViewTree1 Failed to create designer ‘’ The control is working if you populate it in code behind and run it. But I can’t get to the properties of the control in design mode. Could you please help me with this. I would really need it to work. This control is perfect for our purpose. I have attached a screen dump for the failing control from visual studio 2005. Thanks in advance! Best regards,

Rank: Administration Groups: Member Joined: 4/3/2008(UTC) Posts: 43		This is an issue with some PCs, we are not sure why and we are still looking into it. Attached is a version that doesn't have this problem and it has a hardcoded expire date of 4/7/2008. Just unzip it and replace the file: C:\Program Files\DigitalTools\GridViewTree Activation\GridViewTree.dll You will then have to do a rebuild. Support
